Ryuji Goda is a character from the Like A Dragon (JPN: 龍が如く ) series, formerly known as Yakuza in Western territories. His most prominent appearance was in Yakuza 2 as the main antagonist.
He appears in Binary Domain as part of a Japanese exclusive DLC.
He appears in-game as the "Defender" class, who specializes in dealing damage quickly at close-range with heavy weaponry.
Notes
- Ryuji is a multiplayer exclusive character.
- He is not playable on non-Japanese copies, despite this his class name got an English translation.
- Defender acts just like the Heavy Gunner, using the same primary weapon.
Trivia
- Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima, Ryuji Goda and Shun Akiyama's appearances are based off their appearance in Yakuza: Dead Souls.
- Despite having an arm replaced with a gun in Yakuza: Dead Souls, he appears to have both of his hands in Binary Domain.
- Ryuji was 30 as of Yakuza 2, Dead Souls was a spin-off of 4 would make him age by about three years even in this crossover, even though Binary Domain takes place in 2080.
